# About conversion

SkyUSD is always convertible into legal tender or stable coins as determined by Sky Web3 Vision, with a guaranteed redemption rate of $1 per GemUSD.

The market may drop below 1 SkyUSD = $1.00 due to dynamic changes in the buyer-seller balance. In that case, buyers who acquired 1 SkyUSD below $1.00 will naturally be under buying pressure to redeem their SkyUSD to earn a profit margin, and the market price will return to $1.
